Mechanic/Lane Technician
Location: Aiea, HI

A Lane Technician/Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing the mechanical and electrical systems that keep a bowling center running smoothly. This includes servicing pinsetters, ball return systems, scoring equipment, and lane conditioning machines to ensure a safe, reliable, and enjoyable experience for guests.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair pin spotters, lanes, scoring equipment, and lane cleaning and conditioner machine.
Diagnose and repair trouble calls.
Perform preventative maintenance as needed or directed.
Rebuild equipment when necessary or directed.
Clean and organize equipment, tools, and supplies.
Clean and maintain the mechanic office area, bowling lanes, bowling areas, and lane approach.
Able to comply and is familiar with OSHA regulations and safety policies.
Prep Cook

A Prep Cook plays a key role in supporting the kitchen team by ensuring ingredients are prepared, organized, and ready for cooking. This position involves washing, chopping, measuring, and portioning food items, as well as maintaining a clean and sanitary work area. Prep Cooks assist chefs and line cooks during service, follow recipes and safety guidelines, and help keep kitchen operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Able to take direction and feedback from the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs.
Able to make recipes according to the standard set.
Able to set up the line cooks for success with properly prepped stations.
Basic understanding of different cooking methods and sauces.
Must be able to use a knife effectively to complete the tasks assigned.
Able to follow and complete a Daily Task list of production.
Responsible for the station's daily mise-en-place.
Ability to receive and verify all incoming delivery invoices are correct.
Able to visually reject products and produce that fall below The Alley’s standards of quality for products and produce.
Monitor refrigerator and freezer temperatures and report any significant change to the Manager or Sous Chef on Duty.
Follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) Method when storing foods (perishable and non-perishable).

Job Responsibilities

A Restaurant Host / Busser plays a dual role in creating a welcoming and efficient dining experience. As a Host, they greet guests warmly, manage reservations and seating, and ensure smooth guest flow throughout the restaurant. As a Busser, they support the service team by clearing and resetting tables promptly, refilling water and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
Greet guests upon arrival and show them to their tables with a smile!
Assist with answering guest inquiries as needed.
Assist with providing condiments, napkins, silverware if the wait staff is overburdened and needs help.
Clear and clean tables as needed including plates, cups, silverware, and wiping any crumbs onto a tray or into a bus tub.
Check chairs and booths for crumbs before bringing new guests in
Check under the table and surrounding floor area and sweep up any crumbs or litter.
Maintain the cleanliness of walkways, common areas, and wait stations
Always be aware of litter on the floor and pick up any as you go through your station or anywhere else in the restaurant.
Keep the restaurant free of debris and clutter.
Fill all ice bins.
Wipe down and sanitize all high chairs and booster seats.

Job Responsibilities
Process all bowling, school, and party reservation requests, bookings, changes, and cancellations.
Collect deposits and payments required for all bookings.
Ensure the daily and monthly schedules are organized and up to date.
Keep a detailed phone and email log of all correspondence and documents pertaining to customer reservations.
Respond to phone calls and emails promptly and efficiently.
Stay up to date on all products, services, pricing and special promotional offers we provide.
Be the bridge that connects communication between Aiea Bowl’s management and customer base.

Assist with on and off-site catering, buffet platters, and action stations.

Responsible for changing the fry oil when necessary as well as upkeep of the deep fryer.
Responsible for keeping their station stocked and prepared.
Is responsible for cooking to order all deep fried items to customer and/or Executive Chef’s specifications.

Responsible for daily cleaning of the griddle and upkeep of the appliance.
